I think the telephone pole as a site to install our canopy is a great idea. Telephone poles are plentiful, roughly standardized in size, and in places that may not have shelter. We need to decide on an attachment fixture however.
This is probably good as an umbrella for people who are painting beta bridge in the rain, but I wonder if there are more practical locations for it. The bus stops all around grounds are uncovered. Maybe you could add an extension to the bus stop signs and have a tyvek umbrella there.
