Bending wood: creating an inhabitable shelter

We played with the connections possible with the pieces we were given.

By connecting two teardrop pieces to each other a similar cell strategy to our tape circles could be implemened

We experimented with how to use the tension force of the teardrops to create a possible inhabitable sculpture

By adding a compression element as a base, the pieces became spacial. Our next step would be to try to create a collapsible compression base.

We also broke a lot of wood.
