Consider this fluid.

You have probably all played with cornstarch and water in a plastic bag at some point in your lives, but have you ever mixed it in a concrete mixer then run across it Jesus style? Cornstarch+water mixture is a non-Newtonian fluid, meaning it does not exhibit the regular properties of a fluid when stress is applied. Upon impact, the fluid acts like a solid, and is capable of becoming floor-like. Watch this video and be awed.
